Modular mounting design IEC DC motors (0.06 – 2.2 kW)
 

LEESON’s DC motors, in IEC frames 71 through 100, utilize a unique modular mounting design. The basic frame is fitted with a universal end fixing and is also set up to accept a rigid foot.
The basic frame can be field-adapted for use as a B3 footed motor, B5 or B14 flange- or face-mounted motor or a combination such as B3 foot with B5 flange. In this way, the motors can be adapted for every application.
The universal end fixing of the frame will accept the IEC 71, 80, 90, 100 or 112 frame B5 flange or B14 face adapter packages. An advantage of LEESON’S modular design concept is the possible use of a different diameter B5 flange or B14 face than is normally assigned to a motor by IEC dimensional standards. All motors are provided with accessories for the installation of B3 foot mountings.
