BRUSHLESS DC MOTORS FOR AUTOMATED ELECTRIC VEHICLES

The field of automated electric vehicles, of which the most popular acronyms are AGV, AMR, MiR, is constantly expanding, and the consolidated technology for electric motors used is Brushless DC (BLDC).

The small size, or special technical specifications, have led us to design BLDC motors to customer specifications. In the recent past, for example, a BLDC motor was designed for the traction of an automated electric vehicle where it was necessary to install an electromechanical brake, and an additional encoder to the Hall sensors already present inside the motor.

The experiences have helped us to know the needs of the field, and have strengthened our interest in investing in new products. Other solutions are under development, as we want to be ready to meet the most varied technical needs.

The possibility of providing a complete package including gearbox and drive, is certainly a further added value that we can supply to the market. With our wide range of gearboxes, we are able to supply output torques up to 500Nm, with a smooth and linear control even at very low speeds
